We are now at the two week mark till the premiere of Big Brother 14 and as happens every year the rumor mill is in overdrive churning out both credible and ridiculous claims. I’ve filtered through most of this nonsense and thought I’d summarize anything that may be plausible. I’m not claiming the rumors are fact but simply the most probable of all the nonsense floating around the internet now.

There is little word as of yet from the CBS promotional department except form what we’ve seen form commercials. Per usual, we are told that the premiere will have one game-changing “shocker” and four “supersized surprises”. We are also told this will be the biggest cast in Big Brother history. There are also tales that there has been an actual remodel of the House instead of a fresh coat of paint and some new tile we have grown accustomed to since BB6. The latest commercial is below and stills of both the inside and front of the house below. Sound promising so far?

There have been multiple “insiders” popping up on the boards and Twitter claiming such nonsense that I won’t even waste your time with. There’s only been one spoiler who has piqued my interest a little and that’s from the infamous Survivor spoiler MissyAE who has a pretty clean record of giving Survivor boot lists in the past, so I thought I’d put it out there and let you be the judge of its merit. MissyAE claims that the new cast will be divided into 4 teams, each mentored by a former House Guest. The mentors coach their teams and get paid according to their success plus get a large cash prize if one of their protégés wins the game. Your mentors are:

• Mike “Boogie” Malin
• Janelle Pierzina
• Dan Gheesling
• Rachel Reilly

I’ll reserve my thoughts on this twist until we find out if it’s true or not, I do have many, but would love to hear your thoughts below.

Other than that, I can only report that the house will be revealed on July 2, there’s a possibility the cast will be revealed on July 5 and, of course, the premiere is July 12. Big Brother After Dark will continue on Showtime. SuperPass will have its first live show Rumor Control with Dani and Rachel (huh?) AND a tour of the new house.
